Whose wine is whose? These markers spell it out.

Description

This fun and functional set makes it easy for everyone to keep track of their drink at springtime soirées—and can also be used to mark buffet dishes, plates and more. Simply write directly on glass, glazed ceramic or plastic and wait one to three minutes for the ink to dry. Certified non-toxic ink washes off easily with warm, soapy water but won’t smudge during use. For chilled wines, write your name of the base of the glass. Set is available in two color combinations: silver, gold and emerald green, or silver, pink and purple.

Soap and water did not remove the writing from our glasses. Is there another way to remove the marker from the glass?
A shopper on Jan 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: We have never had a problem removing the felt marker from a glass. It comes off easily with soap and water and we always wash our wine glasses by hand. If the glass was etched you might need to use a liquid abasive cleanser like a stovetop cleanser or something like CLR. Very gently.
Will these work on acrylic wine glasses or do the markers stain them?
A shopper on Jul 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: These do work on acrylic glasses and should not stain them. I’ve used them a lot on ours and the glasses have been fine. You do have to wipe or wash the marker off the glasses with water before putting them in a dishwasher though (at least for ours). These work well.
