Turn your KitchenAid stand mixer into a slow juicer.

Description

Add more fruits and vegetables to your diet with this attachment that turns any KitchenAid stand mixer into an ultra-efficient juicer. Because the attachment utilizes your KitchenAid’s powerful motor, the juicer itself is small and compact—no need for a bulky separate appliance.

Easily adjust juicing speed with the mixer’s control lever and fine-tune the amount of pulp in your juice with three different filters. A versatile kitchen tool, slow juicers make not only juice, but also creamy nut milks or mouthwatering jellies and jams.

Features Hide

  • Extra-wide feed tube accommodates large pieces of fruit and vegetables to reduce prep-time and the need to pre-cut ingredients
  • Three pulp screens make it easy to adjust the amount of pulp in your juice or sauce
  • Stainless steel blade pre-cuts ingredients prior to juicing to reduce jamming and to ensure full extraction
  • Low speed juicing maximizes extraction by crushing food to a pulp, then pressing it

Struggles to keep up
The juicer is slow, this didn't bother me much. It handles decent sized pieces of fruit and veggies. It is easy to clean and use. The extruded pulp however is quite wet, so it doesn't squeeze it very well. The pulp shoot plugs up frequently. Harder veggies like carrots and beets challenge the motor. We used this machine about 4 times, then a small plastic piece snapped off while it was running. It still runs, but I question the quality of the machine.

I make seedless raspberry jam every year and it is quite a job squeezing all those berries by hand. I just tried my new juicer attachment and it's made my jam making soooo easy! I love how there is absolutely no waste. Those little seeds came out one spout and the pulp out the other. I love this attachment and can't wait to try it for my tomato sauce and maybe even smoothies. My daughter in law helped and now wants one herself!

helpful equipment
This is a great product and does a good job as a juicer and sauce maker, however it is not for amateur cooking enthusiast. It requires careful assembly and a knowledge of how to process fruits and vegetables.

Great addition for our family
We got this as a gift, and prior to using it researched the heck out of juicers. Once we figured out we wanted an auger-type(better at extracting, and juice lasts longer-less oxidation than a centrifuge-type), we put it to the test. There are a couple of advantages which become apparent only after using the juicer. One, we are able to adjust the speed. This enables me to lower the revolutions, therefore allowing more juice to be extracted, or increase the speed when I hear it starting to strain a bit. Another is that the auger has a slicer blade on top, similar to a food processor. This effectively slices up the food products such that the auger is much more efficient and to date we have not had it get stuck. I must say after watching countless videos and reading reviews about the pros and cons that we are very happy with this choice. We do not have another appliance, it works as advertised, and my wife is very happy with her great tasting and healthy juice. Thank you KitchenAid!

Hard to set up, but pretty good
My first time setting up the attachment was a bit frustrating. It is counter intuitive to push the pulp chute in to open it. I've now used it a few times and I'm moderately happy with it. The alternative requires buying stand along units that were much more expensive.

Was excited to add this attachment to my kitchenaid . For the most part I like it, but find when it attaches to the machine, it sits so high up that I need a small stepping stool to feed the hopper with my fruits and veg's.Other than that, it does a good job

Juicy Juice
I have had my Kitchen-Aid Juice for about a month now after purchasing it from Bed Bath & Beyond. I'm loving the quality of the juice, I feel like this appliance juices more juice from the fruits and vegetables than my previous juicers. I love that appliance doesn't spin the vegetables, but smashes them. I have found that this appliance is slower than other than other juices though, it takes me a little longer even when the Kitchen Aid is on Level 10.
I have also found when I'm juices Carrots & Beats that the appliances makes a loud clicking noise when its spinning, its as if its too much for the appliance at one time. I'm still figuring out what is making the sound, but have noticed it.

Worst vegetable juicer ever
This is an awful product for juicing anything hard like apples, carrots. Does not extract much juice, and you have to press so hard that the machine alsmost topples over. Not easy to assemble or clean. Took this back after one use and about a purpose built juice extractor. Awful, awful.

Perfect new addition to our family
Very easy to put together (at least that's what I find) and works great! I've tried it so far with banana, various berries, apples, mango, ananas... Works perfect and the pulp comes out really dry.
Maybe it's helpful to say that we're using it with a Professional 600 Stand Mixer (Type KP26M1X).

KitchenAid Slow juicer attachment
We started juicing a year ago and love it. We had a Sandström juicer from and used it for 2½ years until it burned up. Bought the KitchenAid Slow juicer attachment last month and it's worked great, I'm a big fan of Kitchen Aid products. I'm educated as a professional chef and have worked in restaurants of & on for 40 years. After 4 weeks of juicing 1-2 times daily the gear jammed and wouldn't move. I sent a letter to Bagaren och Kocken in Göteborg and I'm sure they will replace it right away. I hope I have better luck with the next one.

I am planning on making grape juice concent4ate will it help in removing the seeds.??

I want to use this to mske applesauce with this. Will it work to make applesauce? What about spaghetti sauce?
Darlene V on Nov 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: yes- this is great for smooth sauces.
Could i use this to make seedless tomato sauce? Would this work better than the vegetable/fruit strainer attachment?
ximena a on Oct 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it can be used to make seedless tomato sauce. It would likely be better than a strainer attachment.
How would this handle elderberries? The one comment says that raspberries juiced well. Would elderberries? Their seeds seem to act peculiarly in my Squeezo... they make a kind of cement which jams the Squeezo!
A shopper on Mar 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, elderberries would juice very well. The benefit to a slow juicer is that it masticates, extracting more juice than a centrifugal juicer.
I make tomato soup from cooked tomatoes. Would this work like a food mill and discard the skins and seeds?
Rae on Oct 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Not exactly. This attachment masticates, so it may very well process some of the tomato skin while doing so.
How good is this attachment at juicing greens?
A shopper on Apr 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This attachment does a fine job of juicing greens.
