Wonderful Paris PLates!!
The Duralex Paris Plates are really nice, functional and beautiful. They are great dessert plates or can be used for appetizer plates, salad plates or a small meal plate. This makes them very versatile. The plates have clean lines and the glass is very durable. I have washed the plates in the dishwasher with no issues. These plates can compliment just about any other plate pattern you may have. They look great at breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you are a fan of Paris or French themed items, these plates are a MUST HAVE!!

Pretty, but poorly made.
I like these plates, but many of them are off center, making the design an eyesore instead of an enhancement. I did not bother to return them because they are inexpensive and we intend to use them as everyday dishes. I mainly wanted them because they are lead free and microwave safe.

I have been looking for lead free dinnerware, which means glass, but the glass also has to be microwave safe. This looks like my best option.

Are these plates the size of regular dinner plates?
BEST ANSWER: Nope they are a little bit smaller. at 9 1/4" in diameter A dinner plate is usually 10-12 inches... ( think a salad plate stacked onto a dinner plate. ) That's how I use them. I Nest the glass plate atop my dinner service plate.
However at 9 1/4 they are perfect for a lunch or dessert service as well! Hope that helps

Do these dishes scratch or scar easily?
BEST ANSWER: So far, mine have not scratched. I've only been using them a few months, and usually as breakfast or lunch plates, and I am very pleased with them. Don't know how they would stand up to heavy steak knives, etc.?
