UGH!
Total waste of money. While eggs may look better, poaching in water with vinegar still easiest way to achieve a tasty egg.

Silly pods poach a great easy egg
My daughter was free-poaching eggs and I came across these and added them to an order for the holidays. She was skeptical so I side-by-side poached vs. here approach and these shined, reluctantly winning her over. The pods are now the go-to poach method - they consistently make great poached eggs and clean up easy.

Really nifty little product!
Yes, I know how to poach an egg old-school....however, I am not averse to trying a new technique or tool to speed up or simplify the assembly of a dish. These little pods are super easy to use, and the coordinating lifter tool is very handy. 4 minutes in boiling water produces a perfect texture, perfect softness poached egg. Very nice on a slice of really good, toasted & buttered bread or some sautéed spinach (since I'm now eating low-carb). Easy clean-up too.

Perfect every time!
I love these! I love poached eggs, but struggle with the boiling in water method. I don't like runny whites, but want the yolks completely runny. With these I get perfect poached eggs every time. I put a tiny bit of coconut oil in the bottom of the pod, add the eggs, put a lid on the pot and hit the timer for 3 minutes. Perfection each and every time. I recommend these for anyone who likes poached eggs but would like them fast and easy with easy clean up.

Simple and easy
Easy to use and clean. Just the right size. Non-stick is really important to me, and these fit the bill.

Perfect poached eggs
Very simple to use; results are excellent. I prefer a more cooked egg and 5 minutes works great. Easy cleanup manually or in the dishwasher.

Great product!
Great product! Makes the best poached eggs in the simplest way. I have been looking for something like this fo a long time. Most importantly they can be put in the dishwasher. Would recommend to anyone who loves a good poached egg.

So much easier to make poached eggs. I've tried a lot of other poachers and these are the best. Buying more.

No better way to poach eggs!
We use only these pods to poach eggs. I put a few drops of flavored olive oil in the pod then break the egg into the cup. Releasing the egg is easy and clean up is quick. I have given them to my daughter and they love them.

I ordered these previously. My grandchildren used them and kept them. I'm replacing them. My husband and I enjoy the eggs made in these cups. It's simple to watch the progress of the eggs and I was able to remove the eggs from the simmering water when the eggs were cooked to our liking.

BEST ANSWER: I know that the silicone is microwave safe but I have only used them in water on the stovetop.
Can you poach two eggs in one silicone poachpod?
A shopper on Apr 25, 2011
BEST ANSWER: The easiest way we’ve found to poach eggs. Flexible nonstick Poachpods float on simmering water while eggs cook. When they’re ready, just flip the pod for a perfectly shaped poached egg every time. Set includes light green and dark green pods. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Heat-safe to 675°F. 3" x 1½". Set of two. Each pod is perfectly sized to cook one egg, two would be too much
Would putting a lid on the pot of slowly simmering water speed up the poaching of the egg? Or would it ruin the egg?
Ria R on Feb 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I always put a lid on when poaching eggs using these pods. I cook 5-6 minutes for a runny yoke
cooking time

How long do you cook the eggs in these?
A shopper on Sep 28, 2013
BEST ANSWER: You need to cook the eggs for 4-5 minutes.
Do you poach 1 egg in ""1"" po

or must you use both pods for 1 egg as shown in picture?
A shopper on Dec 28, 2011
BEST ANSWER: The easiest way we’ve found to poach eggs. Flexible nonstick Poachpods float on simmering water while eggs cook. When they’re ready, just flip the pod for a perfectly shaped poached egg every time. Set includes one light and one dark pod. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Heat-safe to 675°F. 3" x 1½". Set of two.

This is actually one pod for one egg. The photo is just showing that two come in a colored set.
I like to put "additives" in my eggs. Can I put small amounts of cooked bacon, grated cheese and chives - most often each addition is by itself - in pods along with eggs for poaching? Also, can I use butter instead of Pam or olive oil? Thanks for sharing your experience. These little pods look terrific!
Hillary G on Jan 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes you can add anything in. Bear in mind that the pods are like little boats and get tippy if unbalanced. They won't flip but water could seep in, so if an ingredient like croutons shouldn't get wet, add it later. I rarely use any oil/fat at all, and just scoop it all out with a big spoon. Of course you can use butter. I'm very happy with these pods.
Do you sell Poachpod lifter?
A shopper on Apr 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Not anymore.
