Great deal!
I've been searching for the perfect nonstick pan for some time... when I came across these I couldn't believe the deal. I was struggling with what size to get and now I have both, and they store so easily together. What they say in the features is true, it doesn't scratch or warp. Love these pans!

LOVE 'EM
The 10" is my favorite and I use it daily. I always add
olive oil or a little butter because I like the added flavor.
As far as "no stick" goes I find these pans clean up
easily--a swish of soapy water and they are back on the
shelf. Good looking too.

"Non-stick" worn off
I loved them in the beginning, not having to use oil or butter for my eggs. I never put them in the dishwasher nor do I use metal on them. After a year of use, I now always have to use oil to cook fry my eggs. And if I want scrambled eggs forget it! These were my daily use pans, maybe I got a defective batch, but the non-stick factor is gone. Very disappointing for such expensive pans.

MY GO-TO PANS!
My two pans have seen a lot of use in the three weeks since I received them. They are heavy enough to retain and conduct heat very well and the non-stick surface is really non-stick. They are wonderful for both delicate eggs and searing meat. Highly recommended

Non-stick no more...
My favorite pans until the non-stick properties faded. Oil is a must when cooking eggs. The pans appear normal, but no longer are non-stick. They've never been in the dishwasher, nor scrubbed with anything harsh. Very disappointing for the price and the initial performance.

How is ceramic titanium different from another non-stick pan, is it really safe to use?
Wendy milner callowa on Nov 5, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It's different in that it's significantly more durable than traditional nonstick. This is why you can put it in the dishwasher, take it to high heat & use metal utensils. It's also bonded to the pan rather than sprayed on. It's actually part of the pan & not a coating.
It's way safer to use because it's made of greener, less harmful materials.

BEST ANSWER: I have many of the CTX pots and pans. I cook on a gas stove and they discolor on the outside fairly rapidly. Personally I have come to like the look of it being well used and loved, like an old chef and their favorite pans. However, if this is not for you a weekly cleaning with Bar Keepers friend cleans them up nicely to almost new. Hope that helps.
Wondering if others have browning on bottom/underneath of pan?
marcia p on Jan 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I did at first. I couldn't tell if it was a thin coating intended to be there but in spite of washing the pans before using them the first time there was a light brown scorched look to the bottom sides of the pans. I used Bon Ami and dish detergent to remove it and it hasn't happened again.
Can these pans be used under the broiler?
Terry S on Feb 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It should not be exposed to temperatures over 500 degrees. The warranty is voided and the pan is ruined. I would not use it in a broiler.
Why can't you put cold water into a hot CTQ pan? What will happen?
Victoria C on Oct 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I believe the pan has a ceramic coating. Cold water on a hot pan will crack the finish.
I am purchasing a couple of frying pans for a future induction cooktop. Can you please comment on whether the CTQ conducts heat /cooks better on induction than the IQ? The CTQ is certainly more costly. Thank you!

Scanpan Pro IQ Nonstick Skillet, 10.25
Scanpan Pro IQ Nonstick Skillet, 10.25"
BEST ANSWER: Both have equally efficient induction compatibility & even cooking. Really what it comes down to is preference. Some people simply prefer their cookware have a stainless exterior.
Does the CTQ stainless steel exterior make it much hotter than the non SS exterior of the Pro IQ?
Emile on Dec 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I can't say that I have noticed. The pan is good, heats evenly, but the stainless steel is hard to clean.
How well does this pan really brown?
J T on May 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have scanpans and Allclad pans. The scanpans btowns as well as the Allclads with the bonus of easy cleanup. I use oil only for flavoring. ( If you have a thick steak, nothing beats cast iron for quick sear. )
Can you put the pans in the oven and at what temperature?
Valerie C on Apr 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We've never put them in the oven but the brochure says you can, up to 500 degrees.
does the scan pan work on induction cook tops?
Virginia H on Apr 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes these Scan Pans work on induction cook tops.
Can it be used in the oven?
A shopper on Mar 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes...I often make frittatas and start on the stove and finish in the oven. It works perfectly and cleans up easily.
Can you use a scrubber to clean inside skillet?
A shopper on Apr 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I do not recommend using anything stronger than a sponge for cleaning the inside surface – I never have the need to do that anyway. The surface is so slick that you should not need anything more than a wet or dry towel to clean it. I recommend cleaning it as soon as you finish using it.
what model scan an is best for electric coil cooktop?
A shopper on Nov 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Any of them, I have been using this brand on my stove topfor30 years. Use pan size slight smaller than the coil or ceramic burner b
what type of lid works with the 8" skillet, 10¼" skillet?
jessica c on Nov 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I was able to purchase the Scanpan lid for the 10 1/4" skillet at Sur La Table; it fits perfectly. Sadly, none of my All Clad lids "cross dress" with the Scanpan pans, so I needed to spend the money for the fit.
Has anyone ever cooked with these on an induction stovetop?
A shopper on Mar 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, that's why I bought them. The nonstick surface is really durable as well.
are these induction compatible?
A shopper on Jan 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they are compatible with induction cooktops.
