Impressive!
I had this for 6 months before I put it to work and now it is earning it's keep! Fabulous even cooking from cheesecakes to buttermilk upside down cakes. Lightweight and really easy to clean. Love the catch rim for minor oozing. Going to order the square one next!

In a word...PERFECTION!
I think I'm in love...
I have always been taught that to get professional results, start with professional equipment. I have found perfection in this springform pan. I looooove how the base is pushed up and how easy the ring just locks around the base without having to fidget to see if the bottom is seated well. The pan bakes like a dream. Easy to release cheesecke and perfect in color and texture. Cleanup was a snap, I literally just wiped it clean

Buy all of the sizes
The best springform pans made. Excellent design. Easy to remove cake to serving dish. No leakage while baking. Need to reduce oven temperature by 25 degrees due to the material of the pan.

Simply The Best
I ordered three types of Fat Daddio's cheesecake pans, and they did not disappoint. My regular cheesecakes are very tall, and this springform variety supports every delicious centimeter. These pans heat and cool so quickly, it's a great help in moving from one step to the next, important when you have lots to do. Clean-up is remarkably easy. Great pricing; I can't say enough good things. A superior product!

Loved This
I'm an amateur baker. I really wanted to purchase the cheesecake pan for the same brand but I ended up purchasing this one. The spring form was easy to remove and to put it back on the base even though the crust of the cheesecake is already in the pan. After my cheesecake was done it was also easy to remove.
I would definitely recommend this product. I'm also looking forward to try the other products that they have. This is worth the money to buy.

Fantastic
I purchased one of these at my northern home and love the style of it. I really like the extra lip on the bottom so that any excess will stay in the pan rather than leaking in the oven. Cheesecakes are cooked perfectly with no sticking. I purchased this one for my FL home. After using these, I couldn't go back to a non Daddio's springform pan. I personally highly recommend.

Deformed after one use!
I made a cake in this, and was never again able to close the fastener. The metal ring had totally warped on one side -- assymetrical! Very disappointed, but I'd had it awhile before I made the cake so I didn't return it. Useless.

Horrible leakage - much worse than pans half the price!
Lots of leaking at the seam as well as other points around the base. Will be returning and reverting back to some of the cheapo favorites. I suspect that it would be fine if you are only planning to do things with crusts (e.g., cheesecake) AND without immersing in water (e.g., not cheesecake - so, not sure how that would work), but certainly does not work for a freeform batter.

I've only used the pan once, but it worked just fine.

I don't have much experience with springform pans but the one I had leaked. Does this one leak?
BEST ANSWER: Although any springform pan can leak, none should leak cake batter. I would never expect one of these to leak batter while baking a cake or cheesecake unless it was damaged. As many crusts have butter in them as a binder, a small amount of the butter can ooze out from any springform pan. If not cooking in a water-bath I would simply place a piece of aluminum foil under the pan.

I'm surprised to find aluminum bakeware! Isn't stainless steel far better to use?
BEST ANSWER: Stainless steel is a poor conductor of heat. Aluminum bakeware provides better, more even results. Additionally, most aluminum bakeware is anodized or coated so that food doesn't come directly into contact with aluminum.

Are these pans leak proof? Can I place them in a water bath without water seeping into the cake?
BEST ANSWER: No, they are not leak proof. I've never put them in water bath, but I have seen butter from the crust of the cheesecake seeping from the inside to the groove of the pan outside.

I have regular fat daddios cake pans and find that they conduct heat so well i have to shorten my baking time. Do i need to be concerned about that if i am using a water bath?
BEST ANSWER: I have the same pans! You should Watch the water bath! Do not open the oven, but rather, put the oven-light on, to peek! That’s what I would do! When I make my cheesecakes in the water bath, I personally have no issues with the timing. But, if you have these particular issues, do as I recommend. To see when the cake is done, simply peek in the oven; the sides of the cake should be pulled-away (a little) from
your cake pan; & the edges of the cheesecake should be slightly-golden brown color! Good luck!
