What do you suggest for dry rub for the beef tenderloin?
Carolyn B on Dec 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I've found that thyme, rosemary, garlic, pepper and salt are the most commonly used ingredients to make a dry rub for a beef tenderloin.
How do you cook the filet mignon roast?
A shopper on Sep 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: An article I read suggests heating the oven to 425°, creating a dry rub & roasting it in the center of a shallow roasting dish with the fattier side facing up. It's important to insert a meat thermometer & focus more on it being roasted to the correct temperature rather than being roasted for the correct amount of time. If you want it rare it needs to be 135° in the center. Medium is 150° and well is 160°. Cooking time is usually 45 to 60 minutes.
