Perfect Risotto!!
For me this is the main reason to own the Kitchen Aid Multicooker. It stirs and makes the absolute best risotto. It is an absolute must if you bought the multicooker.

Useful.
The stir tower is useful. Invaluable when making carmelized onions, risotto or yogurt. I use it a few times a month. Set it and forget it!

The reviews make it inevitable. Imagine a slow cooker that automatically stirs the pot at need! The reviews here and there on the 'net back that take on the product.

Is the Kitchen Aid stir arm noisy when it's in operation? Could you give an approximation to the loudness of the stir arm by comparing it to a common sound (for example: a soft sound like white noise or a definite sound like a blender running)?
A shopper on Sep 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The general consensus is that it's a bit on the noisy side. Consumer Reports mentions that it's nosier the higher speeds you use. That being said, I imagine the noise is more like a blender than white noise.
