Stainless pot for multi cooker
This pot replaces the original insert to use for browning or if you are concerned with chemicals from the coating on the original pot. It is a perfect fit and I am unsure why the cooker isn't offered for sale with either pot.

Must-have!
Well-made. Sturdy. It allows you to sear meat perfectly prior to pressure cooking or using the crockpot function. This is a fantastic thing to have to use with the Fagor multi cooker. Cleans up easily in the dishwasher.

I love having the stainless insert to my cooker.

It's nice to have an extra for the times the other is in use/full at the same time (cooking one thing right after the other, or no time to clean up the first).

BEST ANSWER: Stainless steel is typically preferred when searing cuts of meat. Additionally, some people simply prefer stainless steel cookware over nonstick, as it typically lasts longer.
will they come out with a stainless steel insert for the 8 qt?
A shopper on May 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It's possible, but with it being so new there's no way to know for sure at this time.
When will the stainless insert become available?
A shopper on Jan 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: At this time we don't have a projected date that it will become available.
what is the price of the stainless steel insert for the fagor multi cooker insert?
A shopper on Feb 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's $29.95.
Is this item available for purchase?
A shopper on Jan 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No. It's currently out of stock.
I do I order the stainless steel insert it wont let me add to cart?

BEST ANSWER: It's currently out of stock.
when will the 6 qt stainless insert be available?
A shopper on Feb 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: At this time, we do not have a projected date that this insert will be available again.
Is the insert flat across the bottom or does it dome up in the middle? I'm deciding between the Fagor and the Instant Pot, and reviews of Instant Pot inserts indicate the bottom is domed so that when you are searing/ sauteeing the oil pools only around the outer edge of the bottom instead of sitting evenly across the bottom. I would like to choose the unit for which I can buy flat-bottomed inserts.
Cynthia O on Feb 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The bottom of the pot is flat. Inside the pressure cooker is a little knob that is used to agitate the pot when set on the risotto setting. But everything sits flat. I haven't any problem with pooling around the edge.
What are the dimensions of this insert? (I am looking for something that will fit inside my 6qt for pot-in-pot cooking.)
A shopper on Apr 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This insert itself is a 6 quart size, so it will not fit inside the 6 qt regular insert. they are the same dimensions, just different materials. This insert is made to take the place of the nonstick insert that is shipped with the unit.
Does this, fit in the Power XL pressure cooker?
A shopper on Jan 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, and like S/S it is easy to clean, and I think it cooks better than the supplied non-stick.
Will this insert work in the LUX LCD model? I just ordered the 8QT LUX LCD and am considering buying this to go with it.

Fagor LUX™ LCD Multicooker, 8 qt.
BEST ANSWER: Amy, the Fagor LUX comes with the stainless steel pot insert. Having a second pot, in my opinion, is a wise purchase. Match the size of the insert with the capacity of your Fagor LUX. Happy cooking.
Is the stainless steel insert BPA-free?
A shopper on Jul 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes. Only plastics contain BPA.
So you have to get the six quart to get the stainless steel insert?
robbin b on Feb 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The 6 quart comes with a nonstick insert...it is perfectly fine, although I ordered the stainless one on the recommendation of my son-in-law. They both work fine, but browning seems better in the nonstick.
Would this insert work in the Cuisinart Stainless Pressure Cooker? I don’t like the non stick one that it comes with
A shopper on Jan 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We cannot guarantee that this insert will work, as it is intended for use with the Fagor Lux Multicooker.
Can someone please tell me if this insert will fit the Cuisinart cpc600 6qt electric pressure cooker? I have the original non-stick pot but would like to replace it with a stainless steel pot insert. 6qt size
A shopper on Jan 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I honestly have no clue. My suggestion would be to go to a store. If they have both items you'd be able to check. If they don't, one of the salespeople may know. I've found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Good luck.
