Best ALL in One
I wanted an all in one cooker and found it.

Pros:
- Safety features
- Different cooking setting that is a breeze to use
- It sears/saute really well
- Cuts down hours and hours of stove top cooking when using
the Pressure Cooker
- Lid is removable so you can actually wash and clean it after
use

Cons:
- The cooker smell seems to linger (not sure if its from the rubber seal but I can't seem to get rid of the smell even after hand washing it and drying it properly
- The little cup that collects the water is a bit too small so it gets full easily--but really not a big deal

I LOVE THIS PRESSURE COOKER!!!!
I am so happy with this purchase. I am a fan of all of my Breville products, although this one is seemingly becoming my favorite. I really love the automatic pressure release feature that this cooker offers. You can fully program it at the beginning of cooking (pressure, time, opening method and keep-warm) and there’s no need to attend to the cooker until the food is really ready (which is communicated via a beep from the machine).

Thus far, I've used the pressure cooker feature to cook Corned Beef and Cabbage (used the wire rack for the corned beef and it turned out perfect; cabbage was cooked perfectly with just a bit of crunch), an entire garlic rubbed chicken (fall off the bone tender), and Oxtails (which were very flavorful and also fell off the bone- marrow cooked to perfection). Everything has been cooked beyond my expectations and under 45 minutes.

On top of its superior cooking capability, this is a visually beautiful cooker that you won’t have to hide in the kitchen.

I have, and will continue to, recommended this fast slow cooker to everyone that I know.

Fairly Easy Interface
Having used electric and stove top pressure cookers, I personally prefer electric due to less fussiness and hovering vigilance. One of the key characteristics that drew me to the Breville pressure cooker is the ease by which to enter cookinginformation. On other machines, there are multiple buttons on the interface such that it nearly looks like a calculator keypad. So, ease of input was one of my main criteria as was the relative fussiness of the machine.

Breville has a really nice interface where each knob is turned for options and pushing the knob selects your choice. You have the option to manipulate the temp/psi, time and pressure release...even if you have already set it and the cycle is ongoing. For the pressure cooker, it did take longer than I anticipated to get up to pressure and begin cooking countdown. Little bursts of steam during the heat up process can be off putting and obviously, small children should not be near the steam valve during this process.

The top gets very, very warm, budging towards hot. I was surprised by this as my other machine had a much better insulated top and it was simply warm to the touch. The body gets fairly warm as well, but not enough to hurt anyone. But more than my slow cooker. Once done, it kicks into keep warm mode. You can manage the pressure release per your discretion but the manual release releases in spurts rather than in one long expression.

Overall, the machine does what it is supposed to. Cleaning is easy. The design is lovely. The cover is less intuitive (a nut needs to be untwisted to release the cover but it"s really hot after cooking so it's not very practical to move the cover out of the way soon after cooking). Setting the machine to do all your prep activities is simple (sear, reduce etc). The ceramic coated cooking vessel does not allow for good fond, but one accepts that limitation for nonstick surfaces.

I am happy with the Breville pressure cooker and would gladly recommend it.

I never had a pressure cooker before. The Breville is a wonderful product. I've been trying many of the recipes in the book that came with the cooker . They were all delicious .

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
I have no time to cook, yet enjoy cooking. This is a great tool for me. Last night it was leak and potato soup - leaks good very fast. I have done briskets and chicken to pull for tacos. Stews are great. I have overcooked potatoes - but that is a USER error. :)

I have not had a chance to do Red Beans yet (New Orleans girl, that I am!) ...

Really like that you can brown in the unit first - less clean up - prep is easier.

Takes awhile to build up the pressure so while something may only need 9 minutes to cook under pressure, it can take 10+ minutes to get it to the right pressure.

Getting ready to buy one as a gift for my BFF....

First ever multicooker
I was hesitant about purchasing any kind of multicooker - I've never minded being in the kitchen, or having the oven run all day to braise osso buco. I won't lie though, I love this machine...it's become my new bestie in a mere 5 days. I won't stop using my oven obviously, but this has made things a bit easier. When I originally read about the risotto setting, I laughed and planned to call for takeaway Chinese if the dish failed...the takeaway menu stayed in the drawer. It was only 6 minutes to perfection! I used to have to stand at the stove top stirring constantly, now - forget about it! The whole roast chicken was excellent, I used the left overs to make chicken salad which stayed moist. I'm about to make the creamy tomato soup. I love the recipe book it came with, and the ease of searing and sauteing in the multicooker. Instructions were also clear and concise. I can't stop recommending it! I have warned a few friends with limited counter space that it is large - almost as big as my Breville espresso machine, but it's light, and you can easily store it in your pantry and pull-out as needed.

All-Clad Multi-Purpose Electric Pressure Cooker
All-Clad Multi-Purpose Electric Pressure Cooker
BEST ANSWER: All-Clad: 8 presets, 7 levels of pressure. The PSI for the electric pressure cooker is 6 and 10 according to All-Clad customer service, but that's a bit of a conflict when this website's description says there are 7 levels of pressure, so I really don't know what the full PSI range is.
Breville Fast-Slow Pro: 11 presets plus a custom setting, PSI range is 1.5-12.
I bought the All-Clad stovetop pressure cooker (stainless steel interior) and the Breville Fast-Slow Pro. I had a bad experience with another All-Clad electric appliance in the past, but the real reason I didn't try their electric PC is because it wasn't even on the market when I decided to purchase an electric PC, only the Breville was, and it had a lot of good reviews from owners.
