Excellent Quality
Very high quality finish on the bowls. The muted blue color is elegant. Have had no problem using the bowls in both my microwave oven and my conventional oven. Very good shape that is easy to hold in one hand. An excellent size for cereal, soup and dessert. Only downside was the gummy, hard to remove labeling that was applied to the bottom of new bowls. I wish all manufacturers would convert to using water soluble stickers.

Is it microwaveable?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is.
Are the bottoms rough or smooth?
Rachelle C on Sep 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The bottoms of the cereal bowls are not glazed. But they appear to be made from smooth very fine grain clay so the unglazed bottoms are not rough to the touch. I don't need to worry about the bowls potentially scratching surfaces like I do with other unglazed dinnerware.
