Excellent Suate pan
Pan condition is excellent! tight fitting lid helps in cooking process. Lid expands (audible sound) when heating, but still a tight fit. Great for any type of foods!

this is a superior product
I left this pan on my stove top and used it for multiple tasks, I found that it was superb for all kinds of cooking, I used it for deep frying shrimp, chicken fried steak and fried chicken. it preformed like cast iron, it is easy to obtain temperature and easy to maintain temperature. this pan has a much finer inside finish then my allclad pans which makes it easier to clean then my allclad pans. I wish I would have known about these pans before I bought my other allclad pans. I have not tried to fry an egg in it yet, but it's very smooth finish makes me think it will perform beautifully as an egg pan as well.

Heavy Duty Pan!
As always, another high quality KitchenAid product. Very heavy duty and cooks evenly. Water comes to a boil quickly probably due to the heavy bottom. Cooks evenly. Easy to saute veggies or meat. Nice to have the second handle when carrying a hot heavy pan across the kitchen. However, if you have weak arms this pan may be too heavy to carry for some people.

Very Good Quality
I received this a few weeks ago and my wife and I have put it through the paces. We have a gourmet kitchen and typically have professional grade kitchenware and we were asked to give our opinion. The stated features are accurate and we think the key attributes are durability and versatility. You know the old saying "you get what you pay for" well this item is hands down worth the asking price.

Very well designed pan
I would like to thank KitchenAid for letting me test this pan. I have used nonstick pans primarily on my electric stove. The size is perfect for the largest burner and with the pan being deeper I was able to prepare each part of my stroganoff separately & then finish it off in the same pan. Everything is cooked evenly, the glass lid is great to watch if it's slowly simmering and the lip on the pan makes it easy to pour the contents out onto the serving dish. The bottom will stay flat, which is needed for a glass top stove and the cleanup is just great. All in all, the designer thought of everything. Cooking with this pan is a pleasure, from beginning through cleanup. Thank you for the opportunity.

Great Pan
I absolutely love this pan!!! I tried numerous variations of food, cooked a steak, excellent job, fried potatoes, sauté vegetables, made gravy, this pan performed 100% satisfaction every time. I love the extra helper handle, and the lid fits perfectly. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Kitchen Aid sauté pan highly recommended!
Highly recommend. Even cooking temperature and easy cleanup. Periodic use of ‘bar keepers friend’ helps to keep pan looking like new. Will show whisk scratches but that does not affect cooking or cleaning. Handles are more comfortable than many other pans and handle on opposite side makes pan very manageable. Lack of rivets on inside of pan eases cleaning and measurement marks on inside of pan are quite useful. A quality product!

It sure makes a great steak!
Second lowest setting on my gas burner could keep a simmer going. Very unusual. This is a great pan if you are not used to nonstick pans. Love the lid! Could use a vent on it though. Somewhat heavy pan but the helper handle sure is useful. I spent a lot of time cooking and washing, cooking and washing so I could experience how different foods worked in it! Pancakes do not work!
