Amazing!
I had 3/4 pound of fresh cod cut in 1 inch cubes. Tossed in some olive oil, added a little pepper and fresh cut parsley.
Preheated my oven to 400 degrees, watched it cook through the oven door until the fish started to brown and took it out. and voila........can not believe how good it was. Bought some more fish for a repeat performance tonight.
Delicious!

I LOVED THE SHRIMP GRILL PAN, IT WAS VERY EASY TO USE AND REALLY GREAT TO CLEAN UP. YOU JUST NEED TO BE SURE THE PAN IS HOT SO THE SHRIMP SIZZLE WHEN YOU PUT THEM IN THE PAN. THE BUTTER AND GARLIC RECIPE WAS REALLY GREAT ON THE SHRIMP.

Works well, But...
Then ceramic shrimp/scallop pan does exactly what it should. It protects the fish and is easy tom use...But as the ceramic is very hot, marinades stick to it like glue, and if you want a really clean pan, it takes a lot of effort to clean it. We barbecue fish often. (does not smell up the home!), and the cleaning is a chore. All that being said, I DO recommend it.

fun pan to use
This was a really fun addition to the grilling options. I had always used skewers for shrimp on the grill, but this worked much better - kept the shrimp moist with a great sear. Perfect for appetizer for 2!

A New and Useful Addition to Outdoor Cooking
The pan's arrangement and size of the shrimp and scallop nests make for an even and uniform cooking surface. The sight and aroma of the cooking seafood gives a special preview of a taste treat that awaits. I would certainly suggest to my BBQing buddies that they add this very useful and attractive pan to their own special cooking tool inventor.

Can this be used in the oven or broiler?
A shopper on Apr 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it can. It just can't be used on the stovetop.
Can this be used on a gas cooktop?
A shopper on Apr 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, it can't. It's not meant for stovetop use.
Does the seafood need to be turned?
A shopper on Dec 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have used this for shrimp no scallops .....I do not turn them but you could if you wish....they cook in about 6 minutes over a grill set around 350 degrees.....I just check cooking time so they don't over cook.
Hi Everyone, I just received the shrimp and scallop cookware for Christmas so exciting, I was wondering if anyone has used this item in a Breville oven or a traditional oven? I cannot own a grill of any kind due to where I live. Thank you in advance. Jean
Jeanne on Dec 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have two. I've never used one in an oven. But since it is flame proof and heat resistant to 700 deg. F I see no reason why it would not work in a Breville or traditional oven.
Can you use this on infrared grills?
A shopper on Jun 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I just received this item and it says on the packaging NOT to use it on an infrared grill.
What else could you use this pan to cook? Any ideas?
A shopper on May 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You could use it for any meat cooked at a high temp...
chicken kabobs, bite sized steak, or even small bites of fish. The beauty is that it cooks at high temp for a very short time!!
Do you cook scallops the same as the shrimp recipe?
A shopper on Jun 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have actually only used it for scallops so far. I preheat the pan as the grill heats up. I use Olive oil on the scallops themselves and then add them to the pan. It sears beautifully!
Can pro ceramic shrimp and scallop pan be used for oysters?
A shopper on May 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The wells may not be oyster shaped as in the oyster pans, but yes, oysters can be cooked in the Shrimp and Scallop Pan, as shrimp and scallops can be cooked in the oyster pans.
What are the dimensions of the indentations?
Nancy N on May 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They are not very deep. Approximately 1/2 of an inch. The pan worked well for shrimp and scallops and there was plenty of room for the large shrimp. I put clarified butter and herbs with a little fresh garlic and parsley. They were great
How sturdy with it being ceramic?
A shopper on May 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I find the heft of the pan to be substantial. I don't feel like I am in danger of breaking or chipping it if it bangs against something and mine did very well on the grill. That being said, I certainly wouldn't want to drop it on my concrete patio or tile floor.
If you use in oven, what temperature? Do you preheat oven with the ceramic grill to get it hot before adding shrimp?
jacqueline f c on May 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I've only used the shrimp / scallop pan on our outdoor gas grill which is preheated - 3 minutes. ( For the oven, I would preheat to 375 degrees --add the seafood to the cool ceramic pan cook until shrimp turn pink. Remove immediately.--do not overcook.
.
May I use it in a stove?
A shopper on Jan 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have used it in the oven with a temp of 375 degrees.
What recipe ideas are people using for scallops?
Brenda T on May 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I make shrimp scampi on this grill pan. I make the butter, garlic, lemon, shallot sauce in a pan on the stove and then load up the pan with shrimp and pour the sauce over the shrimp and transfer to a very hot grill. It cooks very quickly and I let it go a little longer to reduce and carmelize the sauce which is wonderful to sop up with grilled bread of your choice
Can you use this pan under a broiler?
A shopper on Dec 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes - excellent pan
