So Easy!
What a great little poacher. This is so easy to use. I have perfect poached eggs in about a minute. I did have to decrease the recommended time by a few seconds to get my eggs just the way I like them. The first time the yolks were hard so I reduced the time slightly the second time I cooked them and they were perfect. I can have a fast healthy meal immediately. Hard to beat that!

Need to spray first!
Didn't realize i needed to spray the interior before using so first batch was hard to remove. Also, needed to play around with the cook time based on microwave heat settings/wattage. Once these to things were resolved, eggs came out close to perfect!

What a disappointment
My eggs were not edible. One of them blew up on the last second of cooking. The yolk exploded, but the whites were not cooked?! And what a mess to clean the slits of the egg out of the poacher. You had to soak it forever, then really spend time trying to clean all the openings. Two trys varing the setting and time did not work. Bad experience.

Not so great!
I was very excited to get it, and when I make my first eggs, they stayed in the orange area and even had hard time to remove to clean it.

not so good
if you increase the cooking time so the white is not a runny mess, the yolk becomes like a small tennis ball -- seriously doubt I can make this thing work

Kathleen P on Jan 29, 2018
Can I cook only one egg?
A shopper on Aug 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: yes, although I generally cook 2 eggs. It does work well, you just need to play with the cook times a little if you are picky about having the white just cooked and the yellow not cooked at all. And I realized that since I was not cooking the eggs with the insert in (I felt like some of the white was slipping into the cracks), I could just as well cook the egg in one of my very small pyrex dishes (4oz size).
I know cooking time will have to be adjustible, but what should I start with?
A shopper on Jan 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would follow the manufactures instruction and depending on how powerful your microwave is cook for 55sc. to 1 min each. But there is a handy guide you can find and so for 2 eggs for a soft yolk in a 600 watt microwave 1:55 should do the trick. The more powerful your microwave is the shorter the cooking time or you can adjust the power down.
How long do you micro wave in a 900 watt microwave oven?
A shopper on Jan 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You might start maybe 5 seconds less than recommended and see how it works. Adjust up or down from there. It should only take a couple of tries to achieve what you want. Keep in mind, egg size also matters. I always spray the inside with cooking spray so the eggs slide right out.
