Great idea. Didn't work
We used it on a skinny cob and then on one with more girth.
It didn't work.

Works OK but not as efficient as a knife.
This is actually more difficult to use than a knife for stripping off kernels from a cob. I had imagined that it would adjust to most sizes of corn. It has just one diameter so that thick cobs are difficult to strip and with thin cobs, it leave behind part of the kernel.

I like to make stewed corn when it is really fresh, but I had to ask my husband to use this for cutting corn off the cob. The knife does a better job of getting the corn milk out.

Looks like you would have to select corn with a small diameter to fit this tool. It doesn't adjust to different sizes does it?
Bernie on Jun 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It appears that you would have to use it with smaller ears of corn, but that is not the case. I use this all the time and have never had an issue with the size of the corn.
