Very good
Never used it before; Nielsen Massey quality is great ----- wonderful flavor --- made Rose water cupcakes with a Rose water butter cream frosting. A little goes a very long way --- I used about 1/8 to 1/4 tsp in the cupcake batter and 1/4 tsp in frosting.

Very good
I purchased this to add to cocktails and the flavor it very good. It is strongly flavored—a little goes a long way—so care must be taken so (in this case) the drinks do not taste perfume-y. Used in small quantities, it is wonderful. I’m very interested in making a rose sorbet next.

Can't wait to try product, as I have been researching recipes that call for this. Nielsen-Massey is the BEST! I have exclusively used their vanilla for years, so I anticipate this product will also be fine, as well.

Excited to make Persian desserts, add flavor to iced tea and lemonade, and generally fool around with rose flavor in the kitchen. I think this will add great flavor to pistachio rice pudding.

Can you put this directly on the skin?
A shopper on Oct 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It is not the same as rose water for your skin and likely will not have the same effect as rose water lotions or oils made just for your skin.
How much alcohol is in this rose water, and is it safe? I was planning to use this in a dish without baking or cooking and serving it to kids.
A shopper on Dec 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It contains alcohol (40%) However, I used this in my frosting for my daughter's birthday cake and with the amount that you'd use, I'm confident it's harmless. The rose aroma is very strong. You only need about 1/4-1/2 tsp in a full batch of frosting, enough to frost a 4 layer cake including the top and sides. Add too much and it will taste like perfume/soap. But yes, it's safe.
