Chipped bowl
Love the bowl. Made cookies tonight. After washing my bowl I noticed a chip on the inside. I will not be able to use this very expensive bowl again. It's not even a year old!

My bowl broke, too!
I am just sick! I love my KitchenAid mixer and have talked many friends into purchasing one. However, I will not be advising them to purchase the glass bowl. I barely tapped in on my sink when washing. A crack formed at the spout and went the length of the bowl. I'm back to my original aluminum bowl but miss the depth of my glass one. Any help would be appreciated.

Glass bowl breaks too easily
I bought my mixer about a month ago. While washing the glass bowl, I bumped it with a glass measuring cup - the bowl cracked and broke. Wasn't even a big bump - this glass bowl breaks too easily.

My mothers present.. expensive mistake
My mother got this product less than a year ago as a present from the rest of our immediate family. It was an expensive bowl, but it was coming from kitchen aid... so it must be good. After having the bowl, my mother bought a tilt head stand mixer today to go with the bowl. Together they looked amazing. My mother went to carefully wash the bowl in the sink when she accidentally bumped the side of the bowl against the sink. The bowl had cracked all the way down from a light bump. We are extremely disappointed in Kitchen Aid for this bowl. We often recommend kitchen aid too kitchens and bakers around our area.

Love it
I was given this glass bowl as a gift and I absolutely love it. I love that it comes with a lid so it's not sitting there collecting dust. I also really like that it has a pouring lip to it . Now I have read other reviews about this whole thing cracked. My advice keep your box and your receipt. My ice cream maker attachment actually broke and I ended up getting a brand new ice cream maker because of the excellent customer service I had. We will see if this holds up so far so good though.
