I am a single person and the 8" skillet is perfect for me. My previous skillet had the finish wear out so I needed a replacement and wanted to try a new product.

I'm looking for non stick pan that will hold up to time and use. As an owner of a Staub Dutch Oven, I am happy with their seasoned cast iron and I am confident that this product will last a long time.

How much does the 11" weigh?
Debbie M on Jan 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This skillet is approximately 5 lbs.
I know it has a wooden handle, but can this be used in the oven?
A shopper on Oct 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, with the wooden handle attached, this pan is not suitable for oven use. That being said, the handle is fairly easy to remove (removed mine to give it an oil finish) and in a pinch, have removed it and used pot holders to get it in and out of the oven. If you do this regularly, then one of the Staub solid metal fry pans is the way to go.
