Oven that will exceed your expectations!!!
We were excited to try out our new oven. The features of the oven and instructional booklet helped our Sunday meal prep run seamlessly. We baked a chicken with carrots, a ribeye with potatoes, and even had time to make dessert with baked cookies and brownies. The instructional booklet made cooking with the oven simple and easy. The durability of the oven and the ease of clean up with the nonstick pans was just another plus in this oven exceeding our expectations. We will definitely recommend this oven to friends and family.

Fantastic convection oven for a family on the go!
This is our 4th convection oven and my wife, kids, and myself have been super pleased with it. It did take reading the instructions to really grasp and understand all of the features of it. I think this will literally take place of our oven for our smaller cooking projects which will be great for many reasons, the best though is keeping the kitchen cooler.
The only limits to this wonderful machine are literally just its size, which by no means is really small for a convection oven. We have cooked, pies, pizzas, meatloaf, and more... We are blown away and super happy with this oven! We think you will be too, we highly recommend this unit!

I am only beginning to use this toaster/convection oven but so far I'm impressed. It takes up less counter space than a conventional toaster oven -- but it also needs a bit of space in every direction, so don't think you can wangle it in between a bunch of other things; it needs 4 inches clear above and to one side, and 8 inches on the other. It is well insulated though. Before using it you're supposed to let the oven run at 450 degrees for 30 minutes, and it was amazing how little heat came off the thing. The housing did get hot so beware, but very little heat escaped into the room.

There are a number of modes and cooking options, as well as presets, and a manual to help make sense of it. In addition to the oven itself you get a crumb tray, two wire racks, a baking sheet and a round pizza pan. Cooking modes are: toast, bake, convection, broil/grill, keep warm and defrost; presets are on the menu for cookies and pizza. We tried both and it worked a treat.

The manual tells you what to cook in each mode and where to place the racks for best cooking. The manual is okay. I would have liked some more info. For instance under the Toast mode it says to put bead slices on the second position of the rack but never says whether or not to toast bagels and how. A lot of people eat bagels. A chart lists a few more items and cooking info -- chicken, roasts, kebabs, cake, pie, etc. There are several recipes: pizza, lasagne, roulades, pork shank, sea bream, jam tart, sponge cake, plum cake and chocolate-nuts chips cookies.

Convection mode is suited to poultry, quiches, potatoes and pastry cakes, while bake is useful for bread, fish, lasagna and cakes. What's the difference between a cake and a pastry cake? Broil/grill is used for pork chops, sausages and ribs. I tried to broil a steak but was not impressed. The unit never got very hot so there was not a good "sear" on either side. Pizza and cookies are preset but adjustable.

The insides are nonstick and clean easily. The racks and pans (but not the crumb tray) can be placed in the dishwasher.

Wonderful addition to my kitchen
Calling this a Toaster Oven does not do this DeLonghi Livenza justice. It is so much more.

I have cooked almost everything in the oven. Pork roast, ribs, chicken and more.

The oven came with 2 wire racks, a broiler pan, baking pan and (my favorite) a pizza pan. The back of the oven is curved to fit even a larger size pizza.

It is very quiet, even when using the convection, it heats up quickly and seems to even cook faster.

A big bonus for me, living in the south, is that it does not warm up the whole room like a regular oven does.

The electric panel is very quick to learn and easy to navigate. My nephew and I have even used it to bake cookies.

This oven is well worth the price and I am thrilled with my purchase.

Excellent Convection Oven and high end looking!
I did not think a Convection Oven would be that helpful and did not think I would use it as much as I do. This is hands down the best Convection Oven out there. It is very high-end looking. The nice stainless steel look and sleek dials give it a very high-end appearance. It is larger and does take up a lot of counter space. However, this will not be an eye sore sitting on your counter. If anything it will improve the look of your kitchen. It gives you a lot of flexibility in terms of cooking larger food items as the oven is larger. It can easily fit a 12" pizza.

The digital screen is very easy to read. They make selecting the options easy. I don't have t worry if I some how left it on as it has an auto off feature that really helps when you forget to turn it off. The De'Longhi Livenza Convection Oven met all my expectations and more. I have not experienced any con's with the oven.

High quality!
The first thing I noticed about this oven is that it looks and feels very high quality. Everything about it feels high quality. Even the racks glide so smoothly and the feel of the door opening and closing is so effortless. It looks great on my counter too.
It is really more of a counter top oven than a toaster oven. That name implies something much less than what this oven can do. It has so many settings - toast, bake, convection, broil/grill, defrost, pizza, cookies and keep warm. The keep warm function can also be used as a slow cooker for up to 6 hours. The pizza function can be used for frozen pizza or fresh. There are preset times in this function, but they can be extended if your pizza is not fully cooked. I am really impressed by everything this oven can do and I would recommend fully reading the book with it so you know everything it can do.
I am very impressed with how quiet this oven is, even in convection setting. When I set it up, the first thing my husband asked was if it is loud. No it is not loud at all! It also doesn't get too hot on the outside. The top gets a little hotter than sides, but not bad at all.
I guess my only real complaint is that it does not toast very well. The bottom of the bread really doesn't toast at all. You can turn it over and toast it again, but that really takes a long time. I often toast bagels and it does them beautifully. This complaint seems rather minor considering all the oven does though. Other notes are it does not fit a 13x9 pan. That would be really nice. I did bake a smaller cake in it, but I wish I could bake a full sized cake. I would love if it came with a broiler pan too. I don't really like the idea of broiling right on the oven rack. Despite those few notes, I still give it a 5 star rating.

Great addition.
We have been having a bit of a heat spell so I wanted to get something that didn't heat up my whole house but I would still be able to make a meal for my family. This did the trick. It does take up a bit of counter space but it is so well worth it. It works better than my oven. So far I have been able to make toast to perfection, pizzas, burgers and grilled cheese. I love that it comes with a pan you can put your pizza on and a roaster that you can put all your potatoes on or a whole chicken or roast. Even though it does take a bit of room it looks so nice with it's stainless steel and it is so quiet I don't even know that it's on. I really love this convention oven it is just a great addition to my appliances and has made life a lot easier in this hot weather.

Great counter top convection oven
This is an amazing counter top convection oven. It is the perfect kitchen appliance. It fits perfectly on my counter top leaving plenty of room under my overhead cabinet. It is very well insulated, so I did not have to worry about heating issues.
It is very simple to use. It preheats within 5 minutes, making a meal prep quick and easy. I highly recommend the De"Longhi Livenza Convection oven to anyone.

beautiful addition to my kitchen
live in a tiny apartment and I was in desperate need of a new countertop oven because I love to cook and a tiny kitchen just doesn’t do the job for me. I absolutely love love LOVE this convection oven. It is hands down the best one I have ever owned. Not only does it have a ton of awesome features, it is easy to use, and looks beautiful on our counter.

We have only had it for a little over a month and have already utilized it a ton. I’ve made a whole range of foods from baking chocolate chip cookies, to roasting veggies, to making casseroles. I can’t wait to continue to discover more ways to use it. It functions just as any regular oven and is large enough to fit so much food, you can easily make some homemade pizza in there. My only complaints are:

1. the first time we preheated it, there was a bit of off-gassing which I didn’t particularly enjoy. It hasn’t smelt harsh since, so I think this is a crucial step before using!
2. This thing is HUGE. This totally can be a pro or con, depending what you like. I appreciated the size for the capability, but it does take up a lot of space.
3. It gives off a lot of heat, especially from the top. You definitely have to be careful not to place anything above it and be careful with any above cabinets that may hang too close to it.

Other than my 3 complaints, I don’t think there is a better convection oven out there that I have seen so far. The De’Longhi Livenza is beautiful and classy, a wonderful addition to our kitchen.

Great convection oven!!
Wish I had bought one of these before now and sooooooooooo! easy to use. Was able to follow the instructions with great ease. Have done hard boiled eggs, cheesecakes and a casserole in it. I decided to use the convection feature only when I do meats for now till I get used to it. Was amazed at the end result of the casserole - with my oven the juices would barely bubble at the end of the baking time but they bubble now with this oven. Love the inside light feature.

Does the oven hold a regular 9 x 13 inch casserole dish, ie small handles?
A shopper on Sep 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It is only about 12" wide and about 11" deep, it will not hold a 13" dish. The depth is a bit strange in a good way, it is meant to hold a smaller pizza pan.
Is there a non stick coating on the interior and if so what is it?
A shopper on Aug 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it does have a nonstick interior, but it's proprietary.
can you do toast with this ?
A shopper on Nov 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely, follow directions for it in the instructions. A very versatile oven!
Can this oven be used to reheat food? I'm looking for an alternative to a microwave.
A shopper on Feb 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes it can,in the proper cookware of course . I am really enjoying this oven so much!
Can you use foil in this oven?) has
A shopper on Dec 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, absolutely. I use foil all the time. I will occasionally line the pans with foil and sometimes cover a dish that is baking with foil. Using foil is the same as using a stainless steel or aluminum pan. Sometimes I have to line a stoneware dish with foil to keep the food from sticking, etc.
How do you clean it?
A shopper on Jan 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I had food drippings on the bottom (where the heating coils are located). So after completely cooling the oven, I heated it back again for about 10 seconds on the WARM temp. just enough to soften the harden drippings but not hot to the touch so I can go in to wipe it off. Turn off and unplug the oven. Take a slightly dampen soft sponge or cloth and wipe the food drippings away. It took a few minutes to gently scrub off parts of the food drippings. In the end, my oven looks brand new again.
I am looking to replace my microwave. Does anyone have any experience with reheating food? I am sure it would take longer....maybe 10min instead of 2? What has your experience been?
A shopper on Feb 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have found that this oven heats food very quickly. Of course, it depends on the temperature when you start (room temp vs. fridge temp) but I have not been disappointed so far.
