Love It!
This multi-cooker was everything I hoped it would be. Have used it several times so far - pressure cooked, slow cooked, sautéed and cooked rice. I love that I can sauté and prep whatever I'm going to slow cook or pressure cook without having to use multiple pots & pans. Definitely a good investment!

Poor Quality with normal use
I have a 6qt unit, The color is beautiful. I do find many uses for it so the versatility is nice. I have only hand washed the insert pan. Unfortunately, the digital screen is failing & I can not read the entire numbers, so I guess a bit at this point. The quality hasn't held up to normal use. I have had it less than a year. After a few months my digital screen started blipping & not it's not working entirely.

My new favorite kitchen weapon
Purchased 2 wks ago. Each recipe I made was previously prepared using crockpot, dutch oven or pressure cooker. This Multicooker out performs the others for speed and getting dinner on the table quick. I will be purchasing another for my mom to replace her stove top pressure cooker (for safety's sake) and so she can enjoy the conveniece of one cooker too.

Works great at a good price
For the price this can't be beat. My only problem is finding times online to determine how long to cook food in the pressure cooker. This cleans up easily especially if you purchase the stainless steel pot to replace the ceramic one. Be careful when releasing the steam valve as you can get burned. Also, don't scrub too much on the release valve otherwise the writing on it will come off and you won't know what settings are what on it.

A MUST!
This is by far the best item I received from my registry. I couldn't believe that you can get a slow cooker, pressure cooker and rice cooker ALL-IN-ONE! It works seamlessly and has so many great features on it. The champagne colour is gorgeous as well... I can't believe I've waited so long to have something so fabulous.

Fantastic purchase!
Since receiving the Fagor pressure cooker several weeks ago, we have used it for almost every meal. So far, I have been incredibly happy with it! My one disappointment is that it doesn't come with any type of trivet, and I am having a difficult time locating one that will fit in the pot. Other than that, it's amazing!

Awesome
I love my multi-cooker. The pressure cooker function is so convenient to make things fast and I love that I was able to get rid of two other tools that were taking up space in my cupboard. Worth every penny.

Should I purchase 4 Qt or 6 Qt.? I live alone Thank you
BEST ANSWER: I live alone too and I bought the 6 qt model. I have not been sorry as it allows me to make soups and stews and roasts for company as well as smaller portions like jasmine rice or a few pieces of chicken when I am just cooking for one. I can also do a pot roast and freeze portions for another time. For me, I made the right choice. Hope that helps. I also recommend buying an extra insert as that will allow you to make a roast or curry and leave it in the pot to keep warm while using another insert to make the rice or potatoes to go with it. I don't know how I ever got along without this cooker. I love it!!

Does this release steam that could damage wood cabinets above it?
BEST ANSWER: If using the pressure cooking feature, the Fagor LUX Multicooker will give off steam. It can be released quickly or slowly...either way, the steam has to be released before you can open the lid. I personally would not place any multicooker under a non-vented cabinet/surface when using it as a pressure cooker. My husband and I love this multicooker....he has turned into a cook using our Fagor LUX to brown, pressure cook, and slow cook beef stew. It gets a lot of use at our home and was worth the price.

Would a 7" silicone trivet fit in the 6qt. milticooker? I measured and it looks like it's "almost/close" to 7" on the bottom, but not sure if that's a too tight of a fit.
BEST ANSWER: Yes, a 7” silicone trivet will fit. I measured the inner pot, and it’s a very comfortable 8 1/2”.
