Fantastic!
Great set. Easy to use and makes a great way to make a gift if you have a lot of gifts to give to your kid's teachers (and therapists in my child's case). Used the King Arthur flour sugar cookie recipe and it was PERFECT. Held the size and shape very well for this project.

Just bought this. Do you use the frosting to hold the tree together? What frosting do you use? Any special simple recipe for the cookies?
A shopper on Dec 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I used think royal icing to hold it together. Finished the decorating after it dried. Also, make the cookies on the the thick side—otherwise you end up with rather squat trees.
Is there a recipe that comes with this cookie tree?
Linda L on Dec 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Tossed the box but don't remember a recipe. I think any standard sugar cookie rollout recipe would work as long as you rolled the dough rather thickly. I would recommend a fourth of an inch at least. Good luck.
What are the sizes particularly the largest one?
A shopper on Dec 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: According to the specifications above, the dimensions are: Largest cutter is 5.75" x 5.5"; smallest cutter is 1" x 1"
How tall is the assembled tree?
Melissa M on Dec 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Melissa, that's going to depend on how many stars you use (there are 10 cutters in different, incremental sizes). You could use fewer or duplicate some to make a shorter or taller tree. The other half of the formula is going to be how thick you roll out the cookie dough or even whether you use something like puff pastry that's going to puff up. I will say that the cutters are a nice quality, and I find I use them whenever I want to have various star sizes. The coating makes them nicer to take care of (they don't rust), but they are not quite as sharp as the uncoated metal cutters. Hope this helps.
Should the cookies be soft or crispy to hold shape of tree?
A shopper on Dec 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Crispy!!
