The choice of home bakers since 1800.

Description

First manufactured by Mason Cash in 1901, the Cane mixing bowl’s distinctive shape and embossed pattern has remained popular with cooks for generations. Available in a variety of sizes, these bowls are perfect for mixing everything from extra-large batches of bread dough to pancake batter for two. Made from high-quality, chip-resistant earthenware, pretty and practical Cane mixing bowls are dishwasher, microwave, freezer and oven safe.

The choice of home cooks and bakers for centuries, Mason Cash started as a pottery in the village of Church Gresley, England, in 1800. Run by a series of master potters, the company took its name from the most colorful of the group, “Bossy” Mason. For the next 100 years, the potters turned out exceptional glazed earthenware kitchen items, which were distributed throughout the UK. In 1901, Tom Cash acquired the pottery, renaming it Mason Cash & Co. That same year, they produced the very first iconic Mason Cash mixing bowl, which has stood the test of time and remains a customer favorite today.

Best Mixing Bowls
I have these in several sizes. They are simply the best mixing bowls. When I was growing up in England, my mother (an amazing baker) always used them.

Great Bowl
I broke my previous bowl and since I use it for everything I had to have a new one and I love it. Perfect size for everything, especially pie crust, marinating fruit, salad vegetables, mixing small batches of cookie dough, EVERYTHING.

My husband bakes bread and wanted this very large bowl for making multiple loaves at a time. This is a replacement for the same bowl he had and loved for almost 50 years, that finally cracked after multiple moves.
