Works really well!
There are so many of these Air Fryers out there...We decided to buy this as it is 3.5 and not 3 liter and the price was great.
Works really well, the pre-sets are a great guide and it does far more than 'fry' foods. Pretty much does everything our normal convection oven does.
Its a winner in our house!

Great fryer with one major flaw
I love using an air fryer, and this one cooks great. The large round basket holds a good amount of food. It was easy to purchase accessories to make the fryer even more versatile.
The one major flaw... When you stop during a cook cycle to stir or toss the basket contents, the timer stops. You then have to reset the cook time remaining and the cook temperature. The previous version of this fryer would allow you to pull the basket out during a cook cycle and then when you put it back in, it just resumed the previously programmed cook.
The temperature is variable in increments of 10 degrees. A popular Airfryer cookbook indicates that you should cook in more specific temperature increments. I don't know how many other air fryers let you get more specific on the temp though.

Love it
I am enjoying using my air fryer. It's easy to use and the food corns out crispy on the outside. My only complaint is that it did not come with any recipes or basic cooking guidelines. I just experimented.

Happy with this purchase
I bought this to try out because it was on sale. I like the product. I have made spiralized potatoes in it a lot as well as roasted green beans. Love the taste. Much faster than using the oven.
Looking forward to trying other foods as well.

I am experimenting with this appliance. I am using it to thaw and cook some items that I normally would cook in the microwave. The flavor and texture of the food is much improved. I will continue to experiment.

Great results so far
Last night I made crab cakes in the hot air fryer. All I did was spray a little bit of olive oil spray on the food container. The crabcakes came out perfectly. I also did french fries. I wasn't quite as careful at making sure they were all separated but other than that they were excellent.

Excellent fryer with large capacity
I purchased this air fryer after my SIL raved about how much she loves hers. This one is great - it has ample capacity & it heats up & cooks very quickly. It's also easy to use. It was priced well on sale & SLT shipped it quickly. Good purchase, overall.

So far, it has been very good
We have only had this new fryer for a few weeks, but we like it a lot. We put cut up potatoes in it with a very small amt of oil and lots of fresh and dried herbs. Delicious. Nicely cooked all the way through..
This fryer is a lot bigger and taller than I expected. Love the grey color

Any idea how does this compare to the Phillips brand?
BEST ANSWER: I was thinking of buying one of these and looked at the Phllips one which is much more expensive. I does have more features but at the end of the day it is just hot air and I have been happy with this purchase which I got on sale. I have made spiralized potatoes in it and they were really good. I have also done string beans which also came out really good. So I pleased with this purchase and the price I paid.

what is the difference between using an air fryer and a convection oven?
BEST ANSWER: They do the same thing for the most part. The air fryer is good for making things crispy and cooked with minimal oil. I use a spritzer to apply a light coat of oil. Also good for smaller quantities of food and up to temp faster.
