Home made ravioli is such fun!
I first used this product in a Sur la Table cooking class, and was hooked! Since then, I've used this to make several kinds of ravioli, including a classic butternut squash with brown butter, sage, and truffle salt. Absolutely delicious! It's also fun when cooking with friends over a bottle of wine.

With ravioli, your possibilities are endless! You can satisfy the meat lover, the vegetarian, or opt for something healthy and light (ricotta & greens, anyone?). You can also use any kind of dough, whether traditional, sundried tomato, spinach, whole wheat, and on and on.

Best of all, this set is quick and easy to use. Just lay your pasta sheet over the tray, fill each pocket, lay another pasta sheet over the top, and by using the included roller to roll over the top, you cut out each ravioli. So simple!

Fresh pasta is not only delicious, and impressive for guests, but it also cooks quickly so you don't have to wait for your delicious meal. This set is a fun way to involve kids, or surprise your guests or special someone. And the possibilities for the dough and filling allow you to indulge your creative side.

Finally, clean-up is a breeze with warm soapy water

Ravioli Maker
This works quite well, abiet time-consuming. The positive of this product is that it makes raviolis (if that is a real word) that have a substantial amount of filling. Not those wimpy things made with pasta machines that are all dough and no filling. Make sure you use something to keep the pasta dough from sticking to the mold/form or you are carefully digging those buggers out of there forever.

Easier to make by hand
I floured the tray liberally and rolled as hard as I could. The pasta did not cut. I had to dig each ravioli out of its compartment. I threw it out.

A little work but a good form
I was tired of using my 40 year old large ravioli form. Water would get in them due to expansion and they would break. The key to using this small square form is to generously flour the form before laying the dough in. Also, when you roll the top dough, try to press hard enough that it will perforate each square. I have a small hand roller
Cutter that I use to separate, if you've rolled out the dough to proper thickness, the raviolis do not fall apart. Also, I freeze them (1 layer)on a cookie sheet with wax paper and flour for thirty minutes and when they get firm, I throw them in a ziplock bag. They are small but yummy. Made 60 -4 cheese raviolis for 7 people and had at least 15 left over, just as good the second day,

We had the hand held one and accidentally put in the dishwasher and it ruined. I thought this one would be easier to use than the hand held one.
