The qaulity is the best
I have been buying a piece at a time. They are expensive, but worth it & made in the USA! It consistently performs well, cleans easy & the handle stays cool. This size saucepan is used all the time in my house. I hand wash mine, just like I do my quality knives, My All Clad will outlast me

Use the 4 quart ALL THE TIME
I love All-Clad Stainless. Originally when I purchased this I thought it was too large, but I found I use it often. Makes fabulous popcorn!

Love it!
I am slowly switching all my cookware to All Clad. Love the quality and even heating. This is a great size pan - I use it a lot. Used to have non-stick cookware, but think that stainless steel is much better, and I haven't had any problems with food sticking to the pan.

Love this line!
1 qt a perfect size for so much! these are beautiful saucepans- I had a bigger one and decided to treat myself to one now and then, and eliminate all the cheap stuff I keep having to replace. Take their tip too, and get some Barkeepers Friend. Its amazing on cleanup (we have hard water and it leaves marks even if you dry immediately) The Barkeepers Friend is a perfect companion to the All-Clad.

Excellent quality
I am slowly replacing my stainless-steel cookware with All Clad. I have the 1, 1.5, 2, 3, and 4 quart saucepans along with the 3 qt. sauté pan and the 10- and 12-inch fry pans with lids. They work perfectly.

Lovely little saucepan (2 qt)
Overall, I'm very happy with this saucepan. True to All-Clad's reputation, the quality is great, it cleans up nicely, and looks beautiful. I took a bit of a risk choosing this one because I wasn't sure I'd like the form factor being tall and a little narrow. It's okay, but I think I would have liked it wider and shorter (better for whisking). Only one star off for that because it really is a great product.

Just right!
This is just the right size for many sides that you make to compliment an entree. It heats evenly and is a must have! This is a wonderful addition to my all clad collection....you never have to buy another with this kind of quality....Love it!

I love these saucepans. They cook evenly and food doesn't stick to the bottom....even creamed corn. I do wish that the handles weren't so long and that they would stack for storage but I can deal with those as long as the cooking is as good as it is. Thank you All-Clad.

Making chili?
I put a little container of chili in my new saucepan and it didn't stick to the bottom. It washed up with soap and water in seconds. Love it.

Non-stick coating on all pans or coating changed on non-stick pans?

The description here for the 20th anniversary changes is confusing. Do all the stainless steel line pots have the PFOA free dishwasher safe non-stick coating or does it mean that the non-stick stainless steel pans now have PFOA free dishwasher safe coatings? I am looking for a stainless steel pot without any coatings...
A shopper on Mar 3, 2013

Which size pot is the most useful, if you can only get one? 3 quart? A 2 quart isn't offered.
Laurel J on Aug 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have both 2-quart and 3-quart All-Clad saucepans,as well as 1-quart. I use the tow larger ones often and it depends on what you are planning to prepare on a more regular basis to determine which capacity is the better option. Getting the larger one by default may make sense if you need the larger capacity with any frequency.
Do these pans have a life time guarantee?
A shopper on Mar 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes the pans have a life time guarantee. All clad makes excellent cookware and you will enjoy using them.
I have an old set of all clad pots and pans. My 1qt. Sauce pan in the bottom looks like it’s being eaten by something in the bottom . Little round dots on one part of the bottom and side. What is there a guarentee on these pans.?I bought around 1986. They are all clad Ltd.
Sheila N on Nov 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I’m not sure about the LTD but make a paste using bar keepers friend and dawn soap and that should clean up the spots. My experience with spots in the pan are from salt and other spices. Hope this was helpful.
Can you use metal utensils with all clad?
A shopper on Aug 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you can if it's the stainless steel interiors. I'd use a gentle hand regardless, as stainless and the metal utensils are about the same hardness.
I'm looking for stainless steel cookware without any aluminium. I hear that aluminium is not safe. I don't want the encapsulated stainless steel cookware with aluminium core. I'm afraid of aluminium leaching into my food. Do you have any stainless steel cookware without aluminium core?
A shopper on Sep 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: First, as a chemist, I can tell truthfully that the aluminum won't leak through the stainless steel. Second, most stainless steel cookware uses aluminum — either on the bottom or as a core — to transfer heat quickly to the cooking surface. Third, aluminum is safe. People have been using aluminum cookware for a long, long time with no adverse effects on their health.
Has anyone cooked Cream of Wheat and the outcometo the pan was ?
A shopper on Dec 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I haven't cooked Cream of Wheat, but I have cooked oatmeal made with milk and sometimes scorches happen. Scorched areas stuck and were really hard to clean. What worked best for me was filling the pan with water and simmering over low heat, scraping occasionally to loosen the stuck-on areas. But overall, I've been very happy with the pan. The handle stays cool and it heats very evenly.
What are dimensions of 1 Qt d3 saucepan?
Terry P on Sep 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The pan's interior diameter is 6 inches. The height is 3-1/2 inches. The lid height is 2 inches. The handle is 6-1/2 inches long.
What is the model number on these sauce pans?
A shopper on Nov 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The 1qt is 4201, the 1.5qt is 4201.5, the 2qt is 4202, the 3qt is 4203, the 3.5qt is 4203.5 and the 4qt is 4204.
What are the differences in dimensions between the 3-quart saucepan and the 3-quart saucepan w/ loop? (Not counting the handles--just the heights and diameters of the pans.)
