best surface ever
I was instructed by the seller not to use sprays on these pans as sprays can interfere with their effectiveness. Just oil and butter, which I prefer anyway. In fact, I can use less oil and butter in cooking now. I've never found a pan - and I've tried a few over the years - that i like this well. Simply the best fry pan ever. Not only the surface, which is awesome, but the weight and feel of the pan in use is nice.

Favorite pans!
We have a set of 2 of these pans, and they quickly became our favorite pans. It's so wonderful to be able to take the pans right from the stove top into the oven to finish cooking. Even when I think I've overcooked something and worry that I may have ruined the pan, it cleans up perfectly. We love these pans

Best non stick EVER
I'm skeptical about the health benefits of this non-stick over others (I feel that eventually we'll be told about a new batch of chemicals leeching into our food), but that aside, I LOVE this pan. Not only is the non-stick amazing, the clean up is easy and the stainless steel is beautiful and able to be kept clean and shiny with a mild abrasive (unlike the anodized aluminum exteriors found on so many non stick pans). I can't recommend this highly enough.

Great pan
I bought this pan because it is PFOA and PTFE free. All other attributes perform very well. No disappointments.

Great value
This is a substantial skillet. I like a skillet that has some weight to it and this one does. I use it a lot and it still looks like new. I love that it cleans up so easily.

High quality pan!
Well made, non stick. I still needed to add oil for eggs but everything else I've tried cooked just fine. Good buy!

I have never bought this brand before but it looks like it would be durable and it is well constructed. I started with the smaller one, if I like how it performs, I will get the bigger ones.

I like the one I have very much so am giving this as a gift.
Mary M on Nov 7, 2016
I bought this same skillet a few years ago. While it didn't hold up as long as the anodized aluminum ones I have had, it was marvelous to cook with, heating very evenly and being completely non-stick (until it wore our). It was so much better, that I chose to replace it.
Stephanie S on Sep 22, 2016

Kathleen K on Mar 12, 2016
These are made in China. I am replacing my existing Zwilling pans that were made in Vietnam. I own several pieces from this line and the ones made in China have superior nonstick capability.
Peggy P on Feb 28, 2016
I have more of this skillet and LOVE it. I also have other brands, but prefer this brand for everyday use, They perform as advertised.....just follow directions, and never preheat on high.

Claudia C on Feb 15, 2016
I've used this pan at my daughter's on their beautiful gas stove and it makes the best omelette with just the smallest amount of veg. oil, making me feel like the best chef! Hopefully it will like my old(er) electric stove as much as it does my daughter's gas one.
Karen C on Jan 12, 2016
I see this pan used on several cooking shows I watch and they seem to be able to take quite a beating. I'm replacing an old non-stick pan and I'm hoping this one will serve me well.
Tracey B on Dec 15, 2015

How deep (height) are these skillets?
A shopper on Oct 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: These skillets are 2" deep.
can this pan be used in the oven?
A shopper on Feb 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they say not to exceed 400 degrees and be sure not to take it directly from the oven and put it in the sink--let it cool off before washing. I still love these pans, the best ones I've owned, but have heard from others that the non stick ceramic doesn't work after or a while or it changes colors. I haven't experienced this at all and use these every day (have 3)...just store them safely (I hang them), wash them without any scratchy cleaning implements and only use medium heat on the stove top (it gets plenty hot on that setting, if higher apparently can lose it's non stick surface qualitites)
Are these pans lightweight?
A shopper on Dec 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These are not particularly light weight.. It is consistent in weight with other 3-ply pans such as the All Clad Classic line and the Sur La Table line. A similar product is made by Demeyere in their Industry5 line. That pan is 5-ply, so slightly thicker and heavier than the Zwilling spirit skillet.
Can you use extra virgin olive oil with this pan?
L S on May 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I have not asked any problems using extra-virgin olive oil with these pans. That is usually what I use for oil.
Can I use steel wool to clean it?
A shopper on Jul 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I certainly would not use steel wool on it. The pan is scratch resistant, but not scratch proof. That being said, one should not need to use anything more than a delicate care Scotch Brite sponge to clean it, that's what I use. The nonstick is excellent, I've had mine for over a year now and it still looks and performs great. Best nonstick skillet I've ever had.
my skillet has burnt on stains. how do i clean it?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have been able to remove stains from oils or food by using baking soda. I sprinkle it on the area along with a drop or two of water and then rub the stain with my fingers or a soft towel. The baking soda and water forms a paste that removes the stain without any scratches.
Cam I get a lid for this pan?
A shopper on Feb 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have a 12" lid for a Calphalon pan which works well on the Zwilling. Not an exact fit, but adequate to do the job. Depending on the size pay you bought, if it is smaller than 12", the Kuhn Rikon universal lid will work great. I also have an 11" European brand pan and the Kuhn Rikon works perfectly and also fits most of my other pans.
Is this cookware good with induction stovetops?
A shopper on Sep 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, have used with induction and works really well.
My omelets stick real bad to pan after flipping ....been making omelets all my life in an all clad omelette pan and never had this sticking issue there something I am missing ?
Ed J on Jul 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You may have the pan too hot. My husband is a chef and this is what he has determined when using this type of pan.
The one bad thing I have found with these pans is that the sides
are not as non stick as the bottom of the pan. I make scrambled eggs in them and when the eggs get on the side of the pan, it sticks. Anyone else have this problem?
A shopper on Jul 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I use a flexible rubber spatula and when the eggs hit the sides, I just swipe them with the spatula. Or alternatively, lightly rub the pan with olive oil before starting and that should help.
How to clean such PTFE-free ceramic-coated pans? I've heard that using cooking oil could damage the coating.
ChtVA on Mar 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I clean them with a bit of dish soap and a soft scrubbie. You soak them a bit if stuck on, but usually cleans up really well. I use very little oil, but what they say not to use is spray oil, which I never use. Mine still retain their non stick, though it does lessen slightly over time, but still love these pans.
