it works
this fish turner will turn fish. It works. My spatula made a mess of things and this proved to be the right tool for the job. Believer.

Thin and Flexible
I purchased this to use with my wok. This type of thin fish turner is what Grace Young recommends for stir frying, in particular, for meat. It allows you to get under the meat instead of pushing it with a thicker spatula. The large spatula is a bit too big for the wok, so I will order the small one. This is not a bad reflection on the spatula, just an incorrect choice on my part. This also works wonderfully for fried eggs and cookies. So far, it appears sturdy, but I've only used it a few times.

Love it!
How did I ever live without this thing? Perfect for fish and other delicate foods. This size is great for most pans.

Buy the nine inch.
Excellent spatula for a variety of uses. Only gave four stars because I bought the six inch, thinking that was just the spatula length but that includes the handle too. Way too small...need to return for the nine. Not sure what six inch would be useful for..maybe a child could use. Otherwise love the fish spatulas.

I love it and use it for turning everything, not just fish. I highly
recommend the fish turner and have given it as a gift to other
cooks.

Just like a fish turner!
This thing does exactly what I wanted it to do with the added benefit that it won't melt if left on the hot pan like the plastic/fiberglas/silicon fish turner I was using previously.

Fish turner
Love it! The only issue was getting it. We used them in our class, but the store was out. Then, the warehouse was out, so another store shipped it.

Fish Turner
I gave this to my daughter for her to be able to flip crab cakes, etc., with little ease. It is one of the best tools that a person who cooks can use in the kitchen.

I actually use fish turners for all foods. I like how the thin edge keeps the caramelizing in place for all meats. Some spatulas have thicker edges and they destroy many types of foods.

Regular spatulas do not get underneath delicate foods; they just push them around, destroying it.

Does this item come in a LEFT-HANDED version?
A shopper on Sep 29, 2013
BEST ANSWER: No, this turner does not come in a left handed version
The nine inch spatula, is it 9" with or without the handle? What is the total ( including handle) length?
Bettina S on Jun 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The handle is 5": flip surface is 9" total length 14" (13" at slant. Love this tool!
Is this safe to use on a ceramic pan?
A shopper on Jan 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would think so, if you're careful. The turner is very thin. I haven't used for fish. Just eggs. It's great. I've bought several as gifts. Everyone loves.
How wide is the 9" spatula?
Bettina S on Jun 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 3 3/8" at the widest point.
Which size fish turner would you recommend - the 6" or 9"?
Christina K on Jul 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I most often cook for just one or two of us. I like the 6" one better - but I have to admit that I bought two of them, because for larger fish portions one turner in each hand works better for me than one long one. I do less damage to the fish portion. Hope this helps - I TOTALLY recommend (and love) the product. Hope this helps, shellie
