Put all ingredients except chicken and sesame seeds into a blender or food processor, and pulse until the garlic, onion, and ginger are finely chopped.
Slice the chicken tenderloins lengthwise into 6 strips of chicken.
Put marinade into a sealable plastic bag with the chicken and marinate for 30 to 60 minutes.
In a small pan, lightly toast the sesame seeds for about 2 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and push one piece onto a wooden skewer; repeat with the rest of the chicken.
Place the 6 chicken skewers lengthwise into the Lékué Steam Case. If you like, you may add a bit of the marinade into the steam case for extra flavor.
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds, close and cook in the microwave for 3 minutes. Adjust cooking time as needed to ensure chicken is fully cooked.
Remove and serve with plain yogurt or peanut sauce for dipping.
