Stew with Vermicelli

Stew with Vermicelli
Serves
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients
  • 2 small sausage links
  • ¼ cup ground pork or beef
  • 3 tablespoons crushed tomatoes or ½ diced tomato
  • ½ cup diced white onion
  • 1 cup water
  • Olive oil
  • 2 ounces vermicelli (1 serving) or other pasta
  • Salt
  • Pepper


Procedure
Give in to delicious comfort with a rich and savory stew made hearty with vermicelli pasta. For use with the Lékué Ogya Pot.

Put the diced onion, a dash of olive oil, and a pinch a salt and pepper into the Lékué Ogya Pot. Close the lids and cook for 2 minutes at 800 watts.

While that’s cooking, cut the sausage into bite size pieces.

Remove the Ogya from the microwave and add the water (add extra ½ cup water for more broth), vermicelli, sausage, ground pork, crushed tomatoes and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Close the lids and cook for 14 minutes at 800 watts. Season and serve. To make spicy, add red chili flakes, tabasco, or your favorite hot sauce.
