  • 1 package Cissé Chocolate Chip Brownie Mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter

Peanut Butter Filling:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ¾ cup smooth peanut butter

Procedure
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a baking pan.

To make the peanut butter filling: Stir together butter, powdered sugar and peanut butter, until blended.

To make the brownie batter: Melt butter and dark chocolate chips in the microwave. Pour into a mixing bowl. Using a spoon or mixer, beat in eggs one at a time. Gently fold in the Cissé chocolate-chip brownie mix, until well combined.

Pour half of brownie batter into pan; spread evenly with a spatula. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter filling on top of batter, spacing about an inch apart. Pour remaining batter on top, and gently spread to fill pan. Drop spoonfuls of remaining filling on top. Gently swirl peanut butter filling into batter with a butter knife, running the knife lengthwise and crosswise through layers.
