Black Sesame Green Beans

Serves: Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:

    • 1 pound green beans, cut into 1 inch pieces
    • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
    • 2 tablespoon ginger, minced
    • 4 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 teaspoon chili flakes, crushed
    • 1 lemon, zested
    • 1 handful, cilantro leaves
    • 1½ tablespoons black sesame seeds
    • Salt to taste


    Procedures:

    Start by heating a wok on the highest heat possible. Working very quickly, add the sesame oil and green beans to the hot wok. Stir fry the green beans until they are just cooked through, about two minutes. Add the ginger, garlic, chili and lemon zest and toss in the wok for thirty seconds.

    Take the wok off the heat and add a squeeze of half the lemon, cilantro and black sesame seeds. Season to taste.
