Blackened Orchard Salmon

Ingredients
- Seasoning:
- 2 tablespoons ground paprika
- ½ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon ground white pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
- ¼ teaspoon dried basil
- ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
- 3 (4-ounce) salmon filets, skin and bones removed
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- Apple Orchard Salsa:
- 2 tart apples, cored and diced
- 4 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 fresh jalapeño pepper, seeded and sliced
- 1 Fresno pepper, diced
- ½ red onion, diced
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Procedure
In a small bowl, mix all spices.
Brush salmon filets on both sides with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with spice mixture.
Place in Air Fryer, preheated to 350°F. Cook for approximately 5 to 7 minutes until blackened and fish is easily flaked with a fork. Remove from Air Fryer.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients for the Apple Orchard Salsa. Spoon over the top of the salmon and serve.
Brush salmon filets on both sides with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with spice mixture.
