Stuffed Turkey Meatballs with Mozzarella

Serves: Makes 5 to 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • ½ tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 4 tablespoons Panko bread crumbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 10 (½-ounce) balls of fresh mozzarella
  • 1 cup of your favorite pasta sauce


Procedures:

Preheat Air Fryer to 320°F.

Finely chop onion.

Place all ingredients into a bowl except mozzarella and tomato sauce and mix well.

Shape mixture into 10 balls and insert one mozzarella ball into the center of each.

Place in Air Fryer for approximately 8 minutes.

Remove and place into an oven-safe dish, add pasta sauce and replace into Air Fryer basket. Cook for approximately 5 more minutes reducing the temperature to 180°F.
