Kentucky Mule

Serves: Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

  • 1½ ounces whiskey
  • ½ ounce lime juice
  • 4 to 6 ounces ginger beer
  • Lime wedges, for garnishing
  • Mint leaves, for garnishing
  • Crushed ice, for serving


Procedures:

The trick to a great Kentucky Mule is chilled whiskey and a cold mug.

Add whiskey and lime juice to a mule mug filled with crushed ice. Tip: place the mug and whiskey in the freezer beforehand to give them a nice chill.

Top off with ginger beer.

To serve: garnish with a lime wheel and mint.
