Cheeseburger

Serves: Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 4 burgers (8 oz. each)
  • Salt & pepper
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil


Procedures:

This recipe was designed for the Staub Steam Griddle.

Make sure your meat is at room temperature. Sprinkle each burger with salt and pepper.

Preheat a steam griddle on medium/high heat.

Add canola oil and, shortly after, butter. Add burgers; sear, flipping once until browned on both sides.

Top each burger with two slices of cheddar cheese. Add the lid. Cook to liking, until the cheese is melted.

Transfer to a bun, finish with your preferred toppings.
