Sweet Potato Fries
Serves
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
  • 1½ pounds sweet potatoes or yams
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Procedure
This recipe was made using the Braun Multiquick 7 Hand blender with its food processor attachment.

  • Prep: 10 minutes
  • Cook: 35-45 minutes
  • Difficulty level: Easy

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with sides with foil. Clean the sweet potatoes or yams and cut in half. Cut off the top and bottom as well as rounded edge to create a rectangular shape. Take your rectangle and cut again lengthwise to create two thinner rectangles. Place one rectangle into the feed tube of the Braun Multiquick 7 food processor with French fry tool. Attach and turn on hand blender. Push potatoes through the feed tube and repeat with the rest of the potatoes. Remove the lid, pour potatoes into a bowl and toss potatoes with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until desired doneness.

Chef’s tip: Works best with oblong sweet potatoes that are not irregularly shaped. The longer the potato, the longer your fries!
