Green Tomato Bloody Mary

Ingredients
  • 2 medium-large green tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 lime, zested and juiced
  • 1 Persian cucumbers or ¼ English cucumber, cut in half
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1" piece fresh horseradish, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 ounce vodka, per drink (optional)
  • Hot sauce, celery salt, pitted olives, cherry tomatoes, shishito peppers, celery stalks, cilantro, cornichons, lime and/or lemon wedges, for garnish (optional)


Procedure
In a high-speed blender, add tomatoes, lime zest and juice, cucumber, celery, horseradish, and Worcestershire. Blend for about 1 minute until completely smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

Pour over ice and stir vodka into each drink, if using. Garnish as desired.

What’s left: Spent limes.
