Mulled Cider

Mulled Cider
Ingredients
  • 8 cups apple cider
  • 3 tbsp Sur La Table mulling spices
  • 4 oz. whiskey (optional)
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 8 cloves
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 5 mini apples, sliced or 1 apple, sliced


Procedure
In a large pot, combine apple cider, maple syrup, mulling spices, cinnamon sticks and cloves. Stir with a wooden spoon.

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, add orange and lime slices. Simmer for 30 minutes. Strain cider mixture and stir in whisky if using.

Serve immediately.
