What you will learn
This is way cooler than your average science class. We’re transforming our kitchen into a laboratory, where every experiment yields delicious results. You’ll learn the science behind bringing tasty creations to life, as well as cooking skills and kitchen safety. Best of all, you can eat your homework.
Classes run about two hours each and last for three consecutive days. Young chefs will enjoy generous samples of each delicious dish and take home a packet of recipes. Share your love of cooking and boost your child’s confidence in the kitchen with a culinary experience they’ll never forget.

What To Expect: Great cooking is about more than recipes—it's about techniques. In our classes your child works together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above
Your child will work with other students in groups of 4
Hands-on classes are limited to 16 students
Students will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
Please have children wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
Your child will enjoy a generous taste of every dish
All class participants receive a coupon good for 10% off in-store purchases good for the duration of the camp
Sur La Table recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please contact your local Cooking School before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
