- Remove packing and/or decorations before burning
- Trim wick 1/8" (0.3cm) prior to each lighting. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and other debris
- Keep wick centered and away from container wall. If flame smokes or extinguish, re-trim the wick and check for drafts
- Burn on a stable, non-flammable heat-resistant surface. Burn in a well-ventilated room. Avoid drafty areas. Burn for no longer than 4 hours at a time
- Container will be hot when candle is lit; allow to cool before touching or handing
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
