- Remove packaging and/or decorations before burning.
- Trim wick 1/8" (0.3cm) prior to each lighting. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and other debris. Keep wick centered and away from container wall.
- If flame smokes, extinguish, retrim the wick and check for drafts; burn in a well-ventilated room; avoid drafty areas.
- Burn on a stable, nonflammable heat resistant surface. Container will be hot when candle is lit; allow to cool before touching or handling.
- Burn for no longer than 4 hours at a time. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Discontinue use when 0.5" (1.2cm) of wax remains at bottom, as glass may break.
