What You Will Learn

Have you heard about the Food52 website? It was created by Amanda Hesser and Merrill Stubbs, both food writers for the New York Times, to give people from all over the world a place to talk about food, exchange ideas, recipes, and favorite dishes. The creators used recipe contests as a way to vet recipes and bring together people for a shared purpose.

In this class, based on mouthwatering recipes from The Food52 Cookbook: 140 Winning Recipes from Exceptional Home Cooks, our chef instructors will guide you through a luxurious seasonal selection of spring favorites. These recipes were designed and judged by home chefs to be among the best available and we're sure you and your guests will love them.

Try the aptly named “Absurdly Addictive Asparagus,” for starters, then move on to an easy and delicious seared scallop dish with a side of roasted potato salad. We'll even share a dessert recipe that highlights the delicate sweetness of spring rhubarb in a buttery shortbread cookie.
