What you will learn
Join us for an exclusive demonstration of fine cake finishing with Tony Miller of Amour Patisserie in Los Gatos. Chef Tony was the Executive Pastry Chef for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group for 12 years. He worked at hotel locations in Hong Kong, New York, Miami, Tokyo, Macau and Washington D.C., directing some of the finest pastry chefs in the world. In 2012, he fulfilled the long-time dream of opening his own patisserie with business partner Amabelle Layug, who also worked for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

Amour Patisserie is famed for their exquisite, jewel-like offerings, which are just as delicious as they are beautiful. Chef Tony will teach the proper use of decorating tips and icings and show how some of his most beautiful creations are born. Many of the cakes at Amour seem too beautiful to eat, but they are equally delicious! See how this incredible transformation occurs.

Great cooking isn't about recipes—it's about techniques. In our classes you'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • Work side-by-side with other students to prepare each dish

  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above, and each student enjoys a generous taste of every dish
