New England Clam Chowder - Mini Crab Cakes with Chipotle Remoulade - Stovetop Clam Bake - Cranberry-Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream
What you will learn
Going down the shore is a tradition from Maine to the mid-Atlantic. But there is something extra special about the sights, sounds and the food of Cape Cod. In this class, we’ll take all the mystery out of those weekend trips, when your grandparents, aunts and uncles threw together a family party with delicious clam chowder and a clam bake just like it was nothing. We’ll show you how to recreate that chowder using a variety of fish and shellfish; as well as how to select, clean and store for that perfect ‘at the beach’ flavor. After this class, you will be able to throw a party for your friends where everyone will feel like they are at the beach -- minus the traffic and usual 6 mile backup on the Sagamore Bridge.
