Through her groundbreaking cookbooks and revolutionary television programs, Julia Child helped bring classic French cuisine to the United States and inspired generations of cooks to expand their skills. In memory of Julia’s August 15 birthday, we’re celebrating her lifetime of cooking with a fun, hands-on class. Your instructor will walk you through the steps for creating our selection of some of Julia’s best summer recipes, each of which reflects her cooking philosophy: big flavor, small pretense. Plus, you’ll take home a copy of Julia’s Kitchen Wisdom (a $15.95 value), so you can learn more essential techniques and recipes from America’s favorite chef.
In honor of Julia’s life and legacy, for each place sold, Sur La Table will make a donation to benefit The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts. To learn more about the Foundation, click here.
