- Slice the top off your pineapple, then measure its height against the cutter’s etched measurement markings. Line up the core with the center of your pineapple, then gradually twist the ratcheting handle to core the fruit. Stop at one number below the measurement to avoid cutting through the skin. Press and hold the button on its handle and twist counterclockwise to detach the fruit from the rind. When you’ve done this, remove with an upright pull. Push the blade release button to remove the blade from the handle and slide the sliced fruit away from the pineapple slicer
