Chicken Breast wtih Honey Mustard Vinaigrette
Serves
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Vinaigrette:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Toasted almond slivers (optional)


Procedure
This recipe was developed for the Lékué Steam Case.

Peel the carrot and cut into sticks. Put the carrot sticks, water and a pinch of salt into the Lékué Steam Case. Close the lids and cook for 2 minutes in the microwave at 800 watts.

In a bowl mix the olive oil, honey and mustard together until combined. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Butterfly the chicken breast.

Once the carrots are finished, put the chicken breast into the case and pour the vinaigrette on top. Close the lids and cook for another 3 minutes. Let sit for 30 seconds with the lids close. Sprinkle the almonds on top and serve.
