Classic Cheesecake

Classic Cheesecake
Serves
Makes 1 to 2 servings
Ingredients
  • 3 ½ tbsp. butter
  • 3 sheets graham crackers
  • 1 8-oz. pkg Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp. cornmeal
  • 6 tbsp. sugar


Procedure
For use with the small Lékué Steam Case.

Crush the graham crackers to make crumbs. (Put crackers in sealable plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin, or place broken up crackers in a small bowl and mash with a muddler).

Melt the butter in the microwave. Add to crushed graham crackers and mix. Pour into the base of the Lékué Steam Case, and spread evenly.

Mix the egg with the cream cheese and whisk until smooth. Add the cornmeal and sugar and mix.

Pour the cream cheese mixture into the steam case over the crust and cook in the microwave for 9 minutes at 800 watts.

Place the steam case in the fridge to cool.

Serve the cheesecake with your favorite dessert sauce.
