Ingredients:
- 1 pound chicken wings; mix of drumettes and flats
- 2 tablespoons spice rub of choice; such as Sur La Table Maple Chili blend
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil
- Dipping sauce of choice to serve
Procedure
Air frying gives you crispy, juicy wings without the hassle of deep frying. Sur La Table has a wide range of seasoning blends that would be delicious to toss the wings in.
Procedure:
Place the baking tray in the lower position in the Sur La Table Air Fryer Oven.
To a large bowl add chicken wings and spice rub, toss to coat. Add additional spice rub if needed. Add oil and toss again.
To the perforated air frying basket arrange the wings in a single layer, leaving a small amount of space between each wing. Note: you will need to cook the wings in at least two batches.
Pour a capful of water into the water inlet and air fry for 10 minutes. Flip the wings, and air fry for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature is 165 degrees.
To serve: Transfer to a serving platter and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
