Tostones with Chile Vinegar - Cubanos with Mojo-Marinated Pork Shoulder – Yucca Fries with Banana Ketchup – French Quarter Beignets
What you will learn
The movie Chef celebrates the title character’s newfound passion for cooking as he gets back to his roots in a Cuban food truck. For authentic flavor, Chef features mouthwatering shots of dishes created by a food truck pioneer, chef Roy Choi.
In this special, hands-on class, we’ll show you how to create a menu of Cuban favorites inspired by this charming film. You’ll laugh and learn alongside other students as our instructor walks you through techniques for making everything from marinated pork shoulder and authentic Cuban sandwiches to crispy yucca fries and spicy tostones. Plus, as seen in the movie, we’ll end on a sweet note with classic French beignets. Join us and discover delightful new ways to spice up your own kitchen repertoire.
*Class bonus: Each attendee will receive a Blu-ray of the movie.
